The CLAW is proud to announce it’s new Flying Monkey T-shirt!

This daring red shirt with looming black ink will exhibit on your chest the amazing artwork of James Tiberius Stowe. This Flying Monkey design was first shown to the public during Tacoma’s 2012 Wayzgoose celebration, where four rare steamroller prints were made. The CLAW is answering the public’s demand for this design by put on t-shirts!

But wait! There’s more! You can order your shirt in ANY size today! That’s right! You can order a Child’s Medium, a Woman’s Small, A Man’s 4X & Tall. But you must order before Noon Friday! That’s when the order gets phoned into the printer so that we will have these shirts in time to sell at the Emerald City Comic Con (Artists Alley Table F-10). As our thank you for your pre-order shipping will be FREE! (within the USA and Canada). Shirts are $20 for sizes Children, Women, and Men’s sizes Small through 2XL. Shirts larger than that, or with or in combination with talls will be between $3 and $5 more. Please contact Mark Monlux for price specifics.

To order your shirt simple send a PayPal payment to markmonlux@comcast.net for the amount of $20. Be sure to include your t-shirt size request, your shipping address, and a phone number. On the 27th, the next Open Swim will be Live Comic Strips.  We will have members of the Super Sirens do different poses from which the artist must construct a page.

Look for The CLAW at the ECCC this coming March 1-3rd 2013 at Artist Alley table F-10, situated right next to The Comic Critic at F-11. The CLAW will be debuting it’s new Flying Monkey t-shirt along with it’s new retractable banner designed by Mark Brill

Be sure to watch for updates. Spring also brings the start of the CLAW’s hunt for worthy PNW art students to compete for the CLAW scholarship. My fellow adamantium talons of the CLAW, friends of CLAW across the airwaves, CLAW cadets and Citizen fanbots! This is your new No. 2 speaking on behalf of my new capacity as 1 of 4 of the High CLAW Council of the Four Eyes… EYEBALL!

• I pledge to boost enrollment of our ranks… in particular I’d like to reach out to lady cartoonists and lady illustrators in the community.  I will listen and report back suggestions for making our league more appealing to these market groups.
• I pledge to really push hard for our much delayed 501c non profit status… EYEBALL!
• I pledge to organize members to complete their member gallery about page with samples of portfolio work and basic minimum of contact information!
• I pledge to promote our CLAW college art student scholarship program at every opportunity. This is a record setting year. I hope to match in the year to come!
• I pledge forward motion on our CLAW anthology self-published book!
• I pledge honest feedback and portfolio reviews of work. Our skills must ever be sharpened… no talon left behind!
• I pledge more life drawing! tutorial nights! movie riff nights!  challenges to other drawing/craft/activity groups!
• I pledge more community power team ups! We have got some awesome cartoon strips going here, lets see if we can’t get them into some publications around here!
• I pledge to put the absurd back in Absurd Washingtonians… EYEBALL!
